Irish Sea Moss (Chondrus crispus) is a red seaweed native to the Atlantic coasts of Europe and North America. It contains 92 of the 102 minerals the human body needs, including iodine, potassium, magnesium, calcium, and iron. It has been used for centuries as a food thickener (carrageenan source) and traditional remedy for respiratory and digestive ailments.
