What it is

Glucoraphanin is the biologically stable glucosinolate precursor found in broccoli seeds and sprouts. When plant cells are damaged (or when gut bacteria act on it), glucoraphanin converts to sulforaphane — the most potent natural Nrf2 activator known. Unlike unstable sulforaphane supplements, glucoraphanin is shelf-stable and relies on your gut microbiome for conversion.

How it works

Glucoraphanin is hydrolyzed by myrosinase (plant enzyme) or gut bacterial enzymes to form sulforaphane.
